The San Antonio Valley, one of Chile's youngest wine regions,
has quickly made a name for itself for its Sauvignon Blanc
and Pinot Noir.
We travel though the attractive Casablanca Valley as we approach
the coast and enter the San Antonio Valley, where we visit
Viña Matetic, a pioneer in the area for its wine tourism
and representative of one of the most emblematic wine projects
of the country, which production is sustained in the organic
managing.
The circuit includes a visit of the winemaking facility and
a wine tasting. We will then enjoy a sophisticated meal in
the winery`s restaurant “Equilibrio” (at guest`s
expense).
We will then move on to Isla Negra to visit the home of Chile's
Nobel Prize-winning poet Pablo Neruda. There we will see his
famously eclectic and interesting collections and delight
in the spectacular panoramic view from the place that was
chosen for his eternal rest.
This is truly a destination for Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot
Noir lovers.
