QUELEN IS THE NEW PÉREZ CRUZ'S ICON
This new label blends Petit Verdot, Carmenère and Cot

Pérez Cruz Vineyard has just launched into the market its latest label: Quelen Special Selection 2005, wine that is registered in the upper category of the Chilean wines. Its name, being inspired in one of the hills belonging to the family wine cellar in Maipo Alto, is the result of a selection carefully made by three Bordeaux Vine Farms.

The new icon of the vineyard is made up of 42% of Petit Verdot, 33% of Carmenère and 25% of Cot o Malbec, a not very well-known blending in our country but it is the great bet of the enology team directed by Germán Lyon and advised by Alvaro Espinoza.

Following the same procedures of Pérez Cruz wines, the fruit from Quelen is obtained through low performances in order to get high quality raw material.

Quelen 2005 is added to Premium Liguai, Limited Edition and Reserva, products which have allowed this vineyard to be placed in the Domestic and International market getting excellent results.
